Both my children attended Earlsfield prior to secondary school. I understand what it is really like to face and address, not only the big choices and challenges that will ultimately shape our children’s future, but also the smaller, everyday hurdles. I feel I bring this and my work experience in landscape planning, design, fund raising, and project management, to the role of governor.

Eric Chau (Term of office )

My career is focused in the financial services and, with two young children, I appreciate how important a robust education in a nurturing environment is vital towards improving the life outcome for children and young people. I am very glad for the opportunity to share my skills and experience through being a governor at Earlsfield Primary School.

I have lived in Wandsworth for 3 years and I currently work at The Prince’s Trust, a charity that helps young people aged 13-30 to move into jobs, education and training. My professional experience has focused on young people who have struggled to succeed in education and I have seen the impact this can have on their future lives. I am passionate about the role education plays in helping people reach their potential and am looking forward to supporting the continued success and development of Earlsfield.

Costanza De Toma (Term of office until 18.10.2020)

Co-opted Governor / Co-Chair

I work in the field of international development providing advisory services to non governmental organisations in the UK and internationally as well as multilateral organisations such as the UN and the EU. I have served as a governor at Beatrix Potter Primary School since 2010 and I chaired the school’s Governing Body from 2013 to 2016. I decided to step down as Chair as I believe it is healthy for Governing Bodies to have a new lead every few years. I am pleased to be able to offer my knowledge and experience to Earlsfield.
