Children, Families and Committee Link

My family and I moved to Earlsfield from Edinburgh just over 6 years ago. I have two children, one at our school and one studying Engineering in Edinburgh. We moved to follow my career with a professional consultancy firm, where I specialise in the investment industry and, more recently, in financial and regulation technology. I believe strongly that schools form a central part of our society and I am delighted to be able to support Earlsfield Primary School as a Governor, helping the school continue in their role as a community hub.

Ed Salton

I love my job in the wider education sector but as an ex-teacher I really missed that direct connection to a local school. My role as a governor allows me to fulfil this as well as strengthen my links within our community. In my day job I help to setup, grow and improve the performance of remote teams working internationally. I had my first taste of teaching at 19 and I’ve been convinced ever since of the power of education to help transform the lives of young people.I’m excited to be able to contribute to such a successful and friendly school.
