Art's Council
In Year 6, pupils are given the opportunity to apply for leadership roles, allowing them to act as positive role models within the school community across a range of subject areas. The Art Council is made up of 10 enthusiastic Year 6 pupils who are passionate about creativity and keen to inspire others to get involved in art.
The EPS Art Council plays an important role in planning and supporting a variety of art-focused events and activities throughout the school year. These have included artist visits, community art projects, competitions and art exhibitions. Members of the council also take pride in helping to maintain our specialist art studio, ensuring it is well organised and stocked with high-quality art materials.
Through their role, pupils are encouraged to share their ideas and opinions, think critically, and celebrate artistic achievements both within the school and in the wider community
